Risks of HCG Diet

Recently there’s been a lot of talk about the HCG diet. Agreeing with the FDA, Dr. Slott does not endorse this diet. Decades of scientific research have discredited this method as a form of weight loss and the FDA has not approved it to be healthy because of the potentially life-threatening side effects. Furthermore, this diet was brought back into the media spotlight by author Kevin Trudeau’s 2007 book. Trudeau was banned by the Federal Trade Commission in 2004 from appearing in any sort of publication that sold products to the public after promoting unproven treatments.
